Guitar tabs available on request

Recommended Posts

how'do folks :) i stumbled over a load of old Guitar mags from the early 90's - when i started out on Guitar, hard to believe it's been 20 years - the mags are from 1992 -1993 and have tablature for a load of songs - which i'd say are likely to be more accurate than most online interpretations - i thought i'd post a list of the songs available and if anyone should fancy tabs for any songs in particular, let me know and i'll try photographing the required songs and post them - i think a photo will have enough resolution to read the print ;)

i'm not familiar with a lot of these songs and as they're from the 90's there's lots of Heavy Rock etc...

in order of the magazines -

Ozzy Osbourne (Zakk Wylde) - S.I.N

Rush - Dreamline

Jesus Jones - Right Here Right Now

Allman Brothers - Mellisa

Overkill/Edgar Winter - Frankenstein

Bad Company - Can't Get Enough

Van Halen - Running With the Devil

Hendrix - Castles Made of Sand (would have been handy had i found this when i done my version)

AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie

Stevie Ray Vaughan - the Sky is Crying

the Band - the Weight

Mr Big - To Be With You (Paul Gilbert - lol - not me tho ;) )

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive

Stone Temple Pilots - Sex Type Thing

R.E.M - Stand

Black Crowes -Hotel illness :thumbup1:

Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic

Obituary - the End Complete

Aerosmith - Mama Kin

Nirvana - Son of a Gun

Alice in Chains - Them Bones

Slayer - Dead Skin Mask :punk:

the Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever

Kiss - I Love it Loud

Coverdale/Page - Shake My Tree

Yes - Mood for a Day

Vince Neil - Sister of Pain

Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way

Clapton - Hideaway

Joe Satriani - Always With Me Always With you

the Who - Pinball Wizard

Metallica - Breadfan

Nine Inch Nails - March of the Pigs

Tower of Power - What is Hip

Pride & Glory (Zakk Wylde) - Losin your Mind :leadguitar:

Traffic - Medicated Goo

Hendrix - Hey Joe

Paul Weller - Wild Wood

the Eagles - Take it Easy

Randy Rhoads - Dee (nice wee classical style solo acoustic Guitar piece for his mama) :smilinguitar:

Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter

Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker

a few good ones here and i'm sure they'll be pretty accurate and complete - let me know if any take your fancy and we'll see how good a pic i can get :)

What? No takers? I finally got back to investigate this post and...how about testing your camera skills on Pink Floyd Shine on Crazy Diamond and/or Clapton Hideaway? But only if you are still offering to do this, Paul.

I'm sure lots of them are great but I think I must have been busy in the 90's because I don't know most of them.

It's a good list to check out though. Thanks for posting.

How'do folks, i've not forgotten about these requests - i managed to borrow a camera with a setting for shooting text, which seems to give decent results, i haven't been able to find the cable to connect the camera to the laptop yet.....i will find it and post these a.s.a.p :)

Right Here Right Now is a fantastic song!

;) Aye Scotty - not a song you hear much these days, but i'd say it's a classic :) (let me know if you'd like me to try photographing the tab for you)

Jim - i had an issue with photographing some of the pages for " Gimme Shelter " i'll have another go at it when it's daylight ;)

Carol - i found a cable for the camera i borrowed :) so here is " Shine on you crazy diamond " the results are not as good as a scan, but you should be able to read the tab - if you're having trouble let me know - i could maybe try a different camera setting ;) i'll have a go at photographing " Hideaway " asap :)

you'll need to copy the full size image and zoom in i think, have fun :) this is worth it just for "those 4 notes" ;)
