Newbie Overwhelmed!

Recommended Posts

Great advice here A++. The only thing I might offer is to have that new axe checked out by a decent luthier and set up so that it works right (intonation, buzzing strings, pickup height, etc) as this detail stuff is rarely done at the factory on a low end guitar. If they're having a slow day at GC and you play the buyer game to your advantage, you might just get a basic setup done cheap provided you buy the guitar today. Even if you can't get $ knocked off on the setup do it anyway, you'll be glad you did. Oh yeah, welcome to the forum. :thumbup1:
