saving my Kristal recording as mp3 or wav?

hi people just got started recording meself play, everything is working fine. ive recorded what i wanted but now i want to save the .Kristal file as a mp3!

ive been lookin around tryin to figure it out but i cant do it!

anybody able to give me a hand?

You may have to export it as a wave file first then bring it back in as an mp3. Tekker has better info though.

I'm not sure if Kristal has an mp3 encoder built-in, or if lame.dll will work with it. If not, the workaround would be to d/l Audacity and lame.dll (the freebie mp3 encoder which I know DOES work with Audacity). Save your file as a .wav in Kristal, open it in Audacity, and export it as an .mp3. Kind of a kludgy workaround, but it'll do the trick.

i figured out how to do it, i saved i as a wav in Krstal, then downloaded some free wav to mp3 converter and it worked a treat.. only jut got home from work otherwise i would of replied earlier!!!
