friendly hello to all

Sorry if this is not the place to say hi but I could not find a guest book.

First off....Kirk, Your talent almost brings me to tears. You also seem to have mastered teaching techneques, tools and comunication....Bravo my friend!!

I've been playing off and on for about 15 yrs. I had lost almost all interest in my guitar until I found this site.

The lessons are EXACTLY the kind of fun and recognizable stuff that I enjoy playing, and others enjoy hearing...my kids actually ASK me to play for them now!
I watch your movie lessons for hours.....some of it is beyond me but most fell right into my wheel-house!! Your combination of easy to read tab, videos and midi samples provides me with "hand held" instructions.....I applaud your hard work.

It's nice to enjoy playing the instrument again.

You'll be hearing more from me and I will definitely check out your Planetalk once I have digested all the VERY cool free stuff you provide your fans.....you now have 1 more.

Thanks a million.

Jason

Thanks so much for writing that, Jason ... I appreciate it and I'm glad I'm helping to keep your enthusiasm level high. Being able to play guitar has been a constant joy to me over the years, and I'm always happy to pass it on to others. The Internet makes it easy!

Thanks again,

Kirk

Great choice for a lesson in "always on my mind".....I cant wait for part 2.

Please keep this kind of stuff coming. You have no idea how you have renewed my interest in the instrument.

Your talent is undeniable but what I really enjoy and admire is your taste lesson selections.

Thank you for creating a place where all level of players can learn and enjoy good music.

A big fan

Jason

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
