I need an idea for a melody
Some of you may already read about this, some of you not. But I'm at risk of getting kicked out of home lately. I've been seeing my councellor alot and she said that why don't I write a song to my parents to give them the impression not to kick me out. I know... its more than just talent that can stop someone from being kicked out. But I decided to take my councellors advice and write this song. I already wrote some lyrics and I'm wondering about ideas for a melody. I want it something kinda happier sounding and not some hardcore heavy metal stuff.

You are going to want to use major chords if you want it to sound bright.

Hi Jessica,
Hope things are going better for you. I think it might help if you post the lyrics. This would give us an idea of the message you want to seng, get a sense of the feelings, mood, etc., which will help in the chord selection (e.g major vs minor).

WEll i'm already done this song. I sang it to my parents. Didn't do much, but I'm always going to be on the edge of being kicked out.
