I-IV-V-Helper

I-IV-V Chords of commonly used Keys

Made these for my nephew, and as an added bonus, it helped drum these into my head a little deeper.
Thought some others might like them.

Two more following these....{5 file upload limit}

Nice X but, think about putting a b7th in the V chord since it is commonly used as the turn around chord to resolve back to the I chord.

AT...Does that work for all the Keys{at least those I used}?

Edit....does that mean to eliminate the V as I have it and relace with the b7th, or will they coinside in a tune?
So much to learn!

Double edit...After thinking{yea I do that now an then} I can play the V for a measure or three then use the b7th for the turn around right? Am I gaining ground or falling on my face here?

That's a really good teaching Aid Kenny and worth developing further, think you're onto a very good Idea here, it's clear and concise, beginners of any age will be able to understand them.

I even understood them

You can do it either way X. Play 4 beats of each chord then play it again and using the Key of A, play 3 beats of E, the V chord, and the 4th beat as an E7. Hear the difference, Has a different feel doesn't it. Both are fine. The 7th just adds a much stronger resolution back to the I. Very common in blues.

Kenny, great job! Wish I'd had something like that when I started. Should be great for the beginners here!
