Hey, Okay done the youtube video, its done with my webcam.
Here is the background information/theory.
You need to know your major scale step and half step pattern. Here it is for review.
A major scale is made up of step = 2 frets and half step = 1 fret pattern. It goes like this 2212221
So if you start on any note, say C and go 2 frets you get D, 2 more frets E, one fret F and so on... until the whole major scale is spelled out CDEFGABC
Ok, each scale note is numbered starting with the first... so you'll have a 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th. In the case of C major C is 1st, D is 2nd and so on.
When making chords from each note of the scale here is the standard method to apply
1 = Major Chord
2 = Minor
3 = Minor
4 = Major
5 = Dominant 7
6 = Minor
7 = Diminished
8 = 1 = Major = Octave
