This is pretty much my standard set-up, I use a AKG D590S &/or a Audio-Technica DR-140 for mic's when needed.
And I just use a variety of Vst effects in mixing and as a crutch for my sad vocal attempts.

Excellent Kenny, you got me browsing software sites! However, reason intervened and I decided I need to explore the potential of Garage Band loops more......backing track coming up!

I'm amazed at your skill level, but you already knew that!

Nice set up Kenny, you're recording's are top quality, how long does it take to make the videos, they're very cool.

Thanks folks,

Chris, it's like audio mixing, can be short and simple to aggravatingly long. these probably each averaged out to about 3-5 hours start to finish, though I usually spread it out over a day or two. Video apps are as simple to use as recording apps, same principles, import -edit - cut&paste - export etc. I'd like a digital camcorder though, be much easier timewise than having to convert these analog tapes.
