  New Slide Guitar Forum

It's been here for a few days now so you may have already noticed it, but if you haven't, we now have a dedicated "Slide Guitar Forum". This forum was moved across from Kirk's www.bottleneckguitar.com site where it has existed for the last couple of years. So it's not really a new forum, there are plenty of threads in there already... it's just a new forum here.

Kirk's specialty is slide guitar and I know we also have some other great sliders around, so there's plenty of expertise here, so if you have been wanting to learn slide, take advantage.

For anyone who was a member of the old Slide Guitar Forum at www.bottleneckguitar.com, please read this, it explains what went on when we merged the two forums.

For buyers of Kirk's "How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D" DVD, the midi files, notation, TAB and backing tracks for the DVD can be found in the private forum here - http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/fo...splay.php?f=88.

If you have bought Kirk's "How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D" DVD and don't have access to the private forum, just fill in the form located here - If you've bought my "How to play Slide Guitar" DVD - join the private forum here. with your order details and we'll activate your account.

If you were already a member of the private forum on the www.bottleneckguitar.com site, your account should have been moved across and you should be able to access the private forum here. If you are having any problems with access, just PM me and I'll sort it out.

Please also note: The private forum is now just for access to the TAB, midi files, notation and backing tracks for the DVD. Any questions, discussions about slide guitar can be discussed on the public part of the Slide Guitar Forum located here - http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/fo...splay.php?f=84

Any recordings can be uploaded to the Members Recordings Forum for now. Soon I'll be categorising that forum and I'll add a section for slide guitar recordings, but for now, you can just post them in there.

I think that's it. If you have any questions, just ask me here.

Also, if you are interested in finding out more about Kirk's "How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D" DVD, there is also a Kirk's Slide Guitar DVD FAQ's and Pre-Sales Questions section located here - http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/fo...splay.php?f=67 where you can read up on what's included and also ask any questions.
