New finger style Christmas Carols
I've done a couple versions of 'Silent Night' so you can impress your relatives after Christmas dinner ... one version is very stripped back, just the melody line and bass notes. It should be fairly easy even for those just starting down the path of finger style guitar. The second is a trickier, busier version, with a few different things going on ... for those who are further along.
Silent Night ... easy version
Silent Night ... trickier version
Don't forget the other two carols ...
White Christmas
Jingle Bells
Merry practice and for those who don't celebrate Christmas ... they're nice tunes anyway, and fun to play!

Thanks Kirk for the Christmas songs! I can actually play the easy version of Silent Night. I'm struggling with this fingerpicking and it really felt good to be able to do something! It made my day!!!

Sounds great, Kirk. I just finished classical gas. What a blast. I've practiced your songs so much that even when I play a song that's not on your site, my fingers are there right where and when I need them. It's like magic!!!!
Thanks a thousand times. Kimagori

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
