We appreciate you providing this for us Kirk, for being such a great mentor and Clancy for keeping such a good house and great new innovations. Thanks to you both.

Now, that would be nice to see the "50,000 members" on the top line of the browser, if you're on the Forum Home.

Now closing in on 51K. Hope we won't forget this, a minor observation.

I agree with you Allthumbs. What do you reckon to running a competition that costs one $US to enter. The prize could be say 50 copies of Plain Talk to 50 lucky winners. This would of course be subject to receiving enough entries to make it worthwhile for Kirk and Clancy. The entries could be by post (for those too nervous to put credit card details online), or electronic. Anyways, just thought that I would run it by you.

Actually, that's very interesting. I wonder if people would sign up if it cost them a one time charge of a two dollars US?? Or even just a buck?

I think it would work if there was a trial period first so folks could see what they're getting, you know something like 30 days free

I try to send a little something every month or so, considering the knowledge I receive is ten-fold more than I would get from a private teacher. This is a 24/7 teaching site devoted to what you want to learn, with "no" time limits, bad weather, missed appointments etc. etc. and I'm just happy they let me be a student here....Thank you

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
