Forum Downtime tomorrow

Tomorrow early afternoon Australian time (around 12 midnight EST) we will be closing the forum down for upgrades. We expect this to take the good part of 3 hours. Maybe longer if there are problems.

The forum will have a new look and new functionality. Nothing too noticable to begin with, but this will be the latest forum upgrade and there are many add-ons to come including your own music page (a little like soundclick) and your own photo gallery.

The one thing you will notice tomorrow is the multiquote function. This will enable you to quote more than one person when replying to a thread. There will be an extra button available in the post bit. For example, the buttons are now "Edit" Quote" and "Quick Reply" - with the new upgrade there will also be a "Multiquote" button.

All the best,

Clancy

Sound's good to me Clancy. Nothing wrong with us getting more self contained.

Clancy any chance that this "Multiquote" function will work with tradespersons, this could take a lot of the hassle out of home renovation

I want a virtual bottle opener in the next upgrade. It'll be the only thing left we don't have here.

It'll make you good enough that you'll be able to hire yourself out as a secretary Kenny.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
