New Lesson Series: Much Ado About Rhythm

I just completed a series of lessons called Much Ado About Rhythm. They're aimed at the beginner, but have great info for those just past beginner and for beyonds. They talk about the basics of timing for strumming within a measure and give plenty of examples of popular styles of strumming patterns.

Enjoy!

Steve

  Timing a problem for me.

I have been playing for two months. I have a timing problem. I have all the problems that beginners experience, but I would like to work on beats within a measure and strumming. Steve I will check out Much Ado About Rhythm.

I'm looking forward to the videos. I just could never get used to using a thumb pick. I tried, but...I guess it's all a matter of how we learned.

If anything just know that the rhythm patterns involved, even though they do make the 'assumption' that a flatpick is being used, are pertinent for any style of picking or strumming. They just present many of the different rhythm styles 'out there'. Definitely not all....I look at a musical measure and see a blank canvas that can be painted rhythmically in any manner I choose...
