Hi y'all from down south in Florida.

I wanted to share some news with you..I had a young man, many years
ago whom I met at one of those 'Friends of Bill's' meeting...
He was a cool kid..and wanted to learn more guitar than just C, D and G stuff.
So, we jammed and had a few great times, we played a couple of cookouts and picnics and things. Scott sort of took off in one direction
after he sat and played hours on end..He literally went from simple
progressions to some really awesome work very quickly..
While I went about the business of raising family and such, he got a scholarship to a local University..Florida Southern, in the conservatory.

He later taught in a University in Connecticut, and sent me a recording he made in a 300 year old tower.

This is his latest Youtube video..

I just decided to look him up, after all these years..and he is just awesome.

Check this one out..a song written for piano

So the point is..never, ever think somebody is bothering you
about wanting to learn what YOU can do...They may just turn out to be one of these guys.
I played and won in a guitar competition a few years after
we met, (I was and have always been interested in slide blues)
in the 'blues individuality', or something like that.

Regards

Elixer strings..

Wow..that's all WOW.

I just gambled on these strings.. THEY are tremendous.

I cannot believe how resonate and clear they are..It reminds me of
when i first put Black Diamonds on an old Harmony when I was
14..in 1972. lol

I put them on a D28 I have and the result is just heaven.:smilinguitar:

Being set in ones habits is such a detriment..now if I could just drop
the pick and force myself to play in dropped D..
