  Hello, GFB,

(1) I donated to our site on 8/22/06, but don't see any record of it on the start page as a star member. Can you help, please?

(2) On the bridge page to Long And Winding Road, the download .mp3 file is missing in both locations. Could you repair that link, please?

(3) The best feature of your site, for me, is the availability of the Guitar Pro file, but could you please update your file to the newer .gp5? That update has been around for some time, now. Also, I'm not sure that the next generation .gp6 will pick up the .gp4 links; sooner or later they won't match up.

Thank you so much for your efforts; this is the best way to learn tab.

I don't agree with you on this one... If you want .gp5 file just open existing .gp4 file and go to "File/Save As..." and save it as .gp5 file... There's no need to force all the other members of the forum to upgrade to GP5...

All best

What start page? You have a star under your username, that shows you have donated.

Both mp3 files are there and working for me.

I can't see that happening. I can't see Guitarpro coming out with an update that doesn't work with an earlier file version. If that does happen, we'll look at going through the lessons then. It's a huge job. There's about 100 lessons and each one would need to be done separately. If this happens, we might have to start charging a fee for the lessons.

Cheers

Clancy

Reed,

I just checked with Kirk and apparently you PMed him as well as posting this here. He fixed it and that's why it is now working. Please just either post these things here in the troubleshooting forum or just send a PM. That'll save the doubling up on checking these things out.

Thanks

Clancy

I sent Kirk the note concerning the verse mp3 being absent; the note I sent you on the bridge was my error. Sorry.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
