Also some freebie apps will resize pics for you. (Think Google with Picassa)

Why don't you use a program to resize photo... I'm using IrfanView, a freeware program, homepage is http://www.irfanview.com... Just use Image/Resize option and enter new dimensions for your photo... I think that will solve your problem...

All best

Another vote for Irfanview.....resizing pics is super-easy and painless.

BTW - IrfanView has a great way of *increasing* the size of pics, too, should the need ever arise. Under resize/resample use the Lanczos filter. Several incremental increases often seems to work well, rather than one giant increase.

Oh, I should have mentioned ... once I was experiencing some small problem with this program. I emailed Irfan himself, not expecting any response and the man emailed me back with a solution - not bad for a freebie, huh?

Pretty doggone good support for a free program! Irfanview has been my default graphics viewer for years on my computers....it has a small footprint, doesn't load a bunch of .dll's and stuff, and is FAST. Besides resizing, you can crop, rotate, add captions, do basic color correction and red-eye removal, etc. It isn't Photoshop, but it doesn't have PS' price tag, either!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
