Chat Room upgrade
I've just finished upgrading the chat room... it was mainly a security update but you'll probably notice a few minor changes... It seems to be working ok after testing it out, but if anyone has any difficulties or notices anything that needs changing, just let me know. It's late here, so it's very possible I could have missed something.
Cheers

Yeah Doug just let me know via PM. I forgot to add the usergroup permissions. Doh! It should be ok now if someone wants to try it out for me.
Cheers

I just tried to join chat with 4 people, but it seemed I was alone in the lounge - any ideas?

Ok, it seems the chat room is playing up a bit... I think maybe if you clear your Flash cache it should be ok... to clear your Flash cache, read this - Trouble accessing the chat room
Fingers crossed that will work.

I only had 2.5 K in flash storage. Erased it anyway and made no difference. I am still in chat and it doesn't show on the main page that I am logged in there. The guys who are logged in aren't there.

As an under-appreciated tech geek myself, who has suffered through way too many tech upgrades:
Nice job Clancy!
Sorry Chris and I just kept chatting about guitars while you were working!!
It won't happen again....
(well, at least not right away!)

Clancy was the only one who could see you in the chat room so nobody took notes. We will have to take your word for it. Clancy is going to take another shot at getting it working right later tonight if she has time.

I was on there earlier, and it seems to be working great now. I enjoyed it! I don't know why I didn't give it a go much sooner.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
