I don't understand the question. Can you be more specific. Are you trying to load a file into Audacity or upload a file recorded in Audacity to this site.

Audacity will only accept certain file types, perhaps that is the problem.

You only need to ask a question once. If no one answers it just means they haven't read the post yet or they just don't know.

Yes Buddy, Audacity does'nt accept a few formats maybe thats the Problem, or you may be trying to upload a file which you've recorded using Audaicty and saved it as "Audacity Project File"

Can you please explain what you did, I mean did you record your playing using Audacity ? If yes in which format did you save it (or export it) ?

If you save it, the file is a Audacity Format, which is a Preject file, that opens with Audacity for Further editing or recording etc, and that Cant be loaded onto the Forum. (Kindly see the allowed formats, in the attachment window)

Kindest Regards
Kush

You can use Audacity to record and then finallly when you're finished, you can either export it as Mp3 or Wav. For wave format - Just goto "File" menu and then click "Export as Wav"

If you'd like to have your recording as Mp3 - use "Export as Mp3"

I hope this helped
Kindly ask here if you need any further guidance or help.

Thanks and Regards
kush

Hi Buddy

Dont panic Pal, we will help you out with whatever is bothering you

Audacity is a good recording Software (and its free !!!!) If you'd like to use any other recording S/W you'd have to go for a Demo version or buy a commercial one. For beginning to learn to record, it is advicable to use Audacity. Anyways its your personal choice Pal. Kindly let me know, whether should I explain "RECORDING USING AUDACITY" step-by-step ?

I request you to be patient Pal

Thanks and Regards
Kush

If you could be specific in your problem (or with what you want to know) there will be better help or solution to it

Are you having problems in Exporting (or saving) your recording as Mp3 ? This may be because you need a Lame-Mp3 file for that. Kindly explain what you'd like to know or learn

Kindest Regards
Kush
