Site downtime
Well I guess it didn't go unnoticed that we have been offline for the last 12 or so hours...
Apparently there was a power failure and the backup generator failed to kick in... why it took that long to bring the sites back up, I don't think anyone knows that apart from the company we deal with (and they aren't saying)... they host 90,000 sites and they all went down.
Anyway, sorry to all of our regulars. It's just one of those things that happens from time to time and that can't be helped... on a slightly positive note (for me anyway)... I got the day off!
Anyway, post away, we're back!!

I've been tearing my hair out today since I've not been able to get to either this site or Guitar Noise.
Thought it all might've been the one problem but it would seem not. Nevertheless, I'll keep on blaming that rather archaic Australian telecommunications company for the other issue.
Glad to see we're all back up and running again here.

And there I was doing all sorts of spyware scans to see if there wasn't one of those little buggers preventing me from visiting this site. (Had that problem before with an other site).

Ahh, thanks for that Clancy. I had a feeling it might've been ... but I just like blaming aforementioned telecom' company.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
