Can't view uploaded pictures
I haven't been able to view any uploaded pictures for about a day now...is this a forum issue or something that maybe got broken in my browser?
Forgive me if this was already addressed - I haven't seen it if it was...
Just curious!

Thanks joe!
I'm on my work PC now and can see the pics fine... I'm assuming it's a problem with my browser settings at home now since last weeks Microsoft "updates". I'm using the same version of IE 6 in both places, so I don't know what's going on at this point.

Hi Jim,
It could be a few things. I know that another member that was having the same issue some time back changed the Ad Blocking setting in his firewall/antivirus program and the images showed again.
I downloaded the Microsoft updates and it didn't change things for me, so maybe you should be looking in your firewall or antivirus program for a clue... take particular notice of the ad-blocking settings would be my advice.
If you find out what is causing this, please post back here. I know a few people have had issues with this and it would be great to get it sorted out once and for all.
Good Luck!

Thanks Clancy!
I also did update my firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro) last week, so that may be the culprit... I will check into it when I get home and see if I can change some settings to fix this. My Norton Anti-Virus also updates automatically as does my CounterSpy...and I also have Mailwasher (but that shouldn't be it).
It's a real shame we have to have all these levels of protection!
I'll let you know what happens.

OK - I got the pics working now.
My subscription to CounterSpy had expired (my spyware scanner) and after I renewed it, the images suddenly appeared again. I don't know why they were blocked - but that's what I had to do.

Good to hear you worked it out Jim. Thanks for letting us know what it was.
Seems like if anyone is having the problem of not seeing images they should check their anti-virus/anti-spyware/firewall settings - especially the ad blocking settings.
Thanks again Jim.

Thats great you found out what the problem was jim, as clancy said it could have had some sort of ad or popup blocker in it that was causing it, use sygate firewall here and so far not had any probs with it but ill keep it in mind if that happens to me at anytime, take care

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
