Hi 8LU3,

I have temporarily disabled the songwriting forum while we decide if it is worth keeping here on the forum. It hasn't had a particular moderator assigned to the forum and the editing and deleting of inappropriate posts has been too time consuming... however one of our mods yesterday offered to take it on, so we might go in and change this and just add some extra rules to that particular forum as I know there are a few members that would be disappointed to see it go.

I'll update this thread when we've worked it out. Should be today sometime, so hang in there.

Clancy

  Songwriting Forum Move

8LU3,

We decided to move all the threads from the songwriting forum into "The Workings of Music" forum - all posts from the songwriting forum can now be found there. You can also post your songwriting questions in that forum. Our moderator lcjones (Les) has kindly offered to moderate the songwriting posts in that forum so if anyone has any songwriting questions, "The Workings of Music" forum is now the place to post.

Thanks Les

Cheers

Clancy

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
