  Re-ordering forums

An update on some changes to the forum...

I'm in the process of re-organising the forum, so, over the next couple of days expect to see the forums change order. None will be removed. A few more will be added.

If anyone has an idea for a new forum, now would be a good time to pipe up. Suggestions are always welcome.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it before someone asked.

No idea for a chat room, but thank you for taking the time to organise the forums

Is the chat room still being considered going up or have you decided not to?

Would it be possible to create one un-editable forum where all user uploaded songs could
be organized? Just the song with the artists name. Sort of a catalogue of GFB tunes or an archive...!!!
It would be cool to see a list of songs, and be able to click on the one you want to
listen to, without having to hunt them down through all the back posts...!!!

I know this is asking a lot, but just a thought...

Hi nocat, no it's not asking a lot. It's a good idea. It's just how to implement it. I'm trying a few hacks/extensions out at the moment on our testing server to see which one works the best...

Canuck-Playa, we're still thinking about the pros and cons of having a chat room.

ref the chat room, for those who wish to chat, you always have a sticky to post the time & location of which offsite chatroom people are going to.
Sort of like bar hopping, which bar is the gang going to meet at tonight.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
