  HELP with member sound-clips

For some reason unknown to me, ( I'm no computer guru by any means)but some sound clips of members will play for me, but very very few do. The ones that won't, I get a window pop-up stating " cannot be played with AOL Media Player". Anyone out there have any remedies? All help much aprreciated. I'm running XP Home Addition , if that helps.
Thanks, Garry

Use Windows Media Player! It seems like it's just another AOL problem to me.

Also, you can use your AOL browser to sign on to the internet, then start either Firefox, or Internet Explorer to actually navigate to this site.
Then when you click on a music (or video) file, it will either play automatically, or
it will ask you to choose a program to open the file with. As Kirk says, just select Windows Media Player, and choose the option to always use this program for that type of file.

Hope that was helpful.

Thanks Kirk and Tom for replying.

If you do as Tom suggested Garry, you should have no problems whatsoever. If you do, just post back here and we'll try and figure out why it's not working for you.

Cheers

Clancy

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
