Clancy
Hey Clancy,
You know how you've got that option in the USER CP where a user can upload her avatar right? And there she has the option of uploading the avatar from an online URL or from her own PC. Well, what are the possibilities of of adding the own PC option to the INSERT IMAGE option in NEW POSTS?
Right now as things are, if your user wants to post a pic to a topic, thread or post, then she only has the option of posting it from an online URL.
No train smash; just a thought.

So what are you saying? When I reply to a message that requires me to "Insert (an) Image", I shouldn't use the "Insert Image" option located in the wysiwyg menu intended for inserting images into message replies? No siree. Instead, I should go to my User CP, click on "Attachments" and try to reply to the message that way...?
Like I said to CLANCY, no train smash...

Yup. The insert image is just for images on the net. Manage attachments is for uploading anything from your pc. Just scoll down the reply page to get to manage attachments and go from there.

Okay I get you. It's on the same page only further down. I thought that you meant I should go to the User CP to find it.
Sorry!
I see how it's done now...

DE_South,
allthumbs got to this before I did and it seems all sorted out now, but I thought I'd just go through how to upload a pic for anyone else who might need this information in the future.
To upload a picture with your post...
Write your message, then go down to where it say additional options, then attach files, then click on manage attachments - browse to find the picture on your computer (must be a jpg or gif file), then click on the upload button, when it finishes uploading you will see the name of your picture listed under current attachments. If you want to upload another picture, just repeat the process, browse and find it on your computer and hit the upload button. Then close that small window and then just submit your post.
Hope that helps.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
