Guess I better make it 9 now....I added a Yamaha bass to the stable last night - an RBX170 in metallic red. OldG and X4String got me all psyched up about a bass in the recording forum and I just couldn't resist!

I have an old Samick classical guitar, an old Hohner that has high action which makes it great fun for slide, an old Avon electric that needs some attention, a Takemine acoustic, a Takemine 12-string, and the latest addition is the Strat (which I just purchased, but have to send back because it arrived with a bit of damage).

Only starting to get into the recording side of things, so hopefully I'll be able to create something decent with all my ladies!

Here is my line up (like some of the others I used to have more but life happens - isn't that what they all say?). Anyway:

Electric -

Johnson 2005 - Strat Replica - Natual Finish (Slighly Lighter Color Than SRV's Lenny). Soon to be added is a holographic SRV sticker like what he had on his. This guitar is no longer in production which is a shame because is plays great stock and does sound great when compared to a more pricey Fender Strat.

Acoustic -

Jasmine Takamine - S35

Amp -

Behringer - GM108

Pedals -

Boss ME 50 (which I am still in the process of reviewing on this site).

Digitech RP50 - which I no longer use and am considering trading it on some guitar parts at Guitar Center or something.

Mac, I am so envious - first you got a Paisley Guitar granted it is not a Crook guitar but now you have a Dr. Z Maz. on the way!!!! Hope you really enjoy it!! Let us know.

I'll definitely post some pics when the Maz gets here, Fulltone....believe me, I'm anxiously awaiting it! :isaynothing:

The Turser Paisley is nowhere near a Crook, but it also is nowhere near the price of a Crook! It plays decently and looks nice, so it'll do the trick for now. I'd love to own a Crook Paisley someday - he certainly makes a beautiful (and beautifully built!) guitar.

I've bought a lot of relatively inexpensive guitars and amps as I've experimented to find what feels, plays and sounds right for me. I enjoy trying out new and different gear, so while the collection will undoubtedly change, I doubt that it will ever actually shrink! :D
