Capos

I promised stupid questions and I deliver.

Is there a wide variance in capo quality. What I mean is, a few dollars more for an amp can mark the difference between stellar sound quality and a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious piece of junk. Same goes for guitars/tuners/strings etc, but what about capos?

The 1st capo i bought was no good it clamped on to the neck by squeezing a lever on the back.It was unbeleivably tight and was going to damage my guitars if i carried on using it.

I use a decent quality spring loaded capo now and it does the job.No need to pay loads of money for one.

I have a couple of Kyser capos and they work quite well.

They aren't so strong they threaten the health of the neck and are padded to protect the neck.

It's been a while but I doubt if they were over $10.
