Just a note on this recording, I play all instruments.... including live percussion on a used high school band snare drum using brushes. :)

Nicely done, psycho shark. The Rickenbacker is sounding pretty good - and nice muting - I never realised anything about keeping the notes clean until I started listening and watching other players here at gfb. It's a great skill, and one I haven't mastered yet.

About the Rickenbacker, I've stopped gassing about getting a different electric guitar....for now. But I do still have my permanent ebay search list going for lefty guitars though.

Thanks Eddie & Carol :)

Zon.... the lead is a 2005 Rickenbacker 330/6. Her name is Roxy and she's serious hot. She has a pair of vintage Rickenbacker toasters and a modded volume switch that can switch to a vintage 4.7uf cap which really gives that old tone from way back when. :)

As a side note, on this recording I ran her through DanEcho and Janglebox pedals, into a MAudio Pre-Amp and then in to the mixer.

They're the funkiest guitars! Hey Les, does it have separate outputs for each pickup? I've heard they do. You could do some neat mixes with that.

Great song, Les.

Hey Doug,.

The 330 pictured has a single output. But my Rickenbacker 360/12 (Roxy's sister Rose) has the dual output. 1 mono and a 2nd stereo output. Yes, you can pipe it out to different amps. Using a "Y" adapter you can plug into left and right hand stage amps. Pretty cool.

In the photo, Rose the 360/12 Twelve String is on the left and Roxy the 330/6 Six String on the right.
