Your gear may be illegal

Recommended Posts

I have no plans to leave the country again . and I do not yet have the "40's" Gibson that I have coveted for the past 40 yrs. I try to be enviramently responsible (recycle, etc.)and I understand the need to protect what we have for so long neglected but is there anyone in Washington with any sense making policy or have the inmates finally taken complete control of the asylum?

The real problem is not whether my guitars contain a certain wood which makes them illegal.

The real problem is that the way I play a guitar should be illegal.

There are cheap (fake) imitation Shure 58's around on the internet - I found an article somewhere that tells you how to spot a fake so it should be around if you search for it. I remember that fake ones are noticeably lighter, as well as much cheaper, but there were small design differences too.
