sheraton 20 Posted March 13, 2011 here's a wee riff idea i had for a song, not had a chance to try any vocals over it yet......i'm sure it will work ok with vocals tho thought i'd post the idea and see if anyone was interested and had any ideas...... gtr riff idea.mp3 all (well most..lol) subject matter/themes welcome, and don't worry about writing words to fit the music....this idea has a few options for melody and timing for the vocals Paul......... I do have some lyric ideas floating around in my head and if i get any of them together i will post them and you can see if they work. If nothing else maybe i can post a few lines and get some ideas flowing anyway . Nice job on the playing .... This ought to make for another good one ! sheraton 20 Posted March 16, 2011 cheers Eddie and Johnny the drum track here is just one from the rhythm guide in my Boss BR864 8track......usually when i get a more finished idea i send all my recorded tracks as wav files to cubase 5, and use EZdrummer to build a drum track.....EZdrummer is great and real easy to use yeah i like those lyrics Johnny, pretty sure they will work not sure about the "end to come to an end" part, i like it but, not sure that it flows when singin the lines maybe "chapter to come to an end"...... i know that's not saying the same thing, another word for end maybe "i'm just waiting on this ........ to come to an end" conclusion? or "waiting on my downfall to come to an end" Paul..... Been working toooooo much so have to get on here when ever i have a minute which r far and few between lol . I was just posting some ideas to get the ball rolling so as always you can change em as you see fit . I dont really have full lyrics down just some ideas. Heres another couple lines to feed off maybe .... I do think his and your lyrics are better than these, but at least these are some lines you could mix and match to fit whatever you end up with.
