Sol Invictus

Recommended Posts

Since I can't play guitar I've been getting into songwriting. In my religion we celebrate the winter solstice when the day is at its shortest. After the solstice the days get longer and we celebrate the sun's rebirth. Anyway, here's the song.

The sun shines it's light

And gives us life.

It shines for the faithful

And for the righteous.

It is the supreme astral body

And Sun of Justice.

Sol Invictus.

The dawn is breaking

And light shines on the empire.

We celebrate and the games begin.

We honor Sol during the solstice.

When its days start to get longer.

And its rays start to get stronger

The sun shines it's light

And gives us life.

It shines for the faithful

And for the righteous.

It is the supreme astral body

And Sun of Justice.

Sol Invictus.

We have our festival

When we see the night ending.

We worship the sun

Its life never ending.

The sun shines it's light

And gives us life.

It shines for the faithful

And for the righteous.

It is the supreme astral body

And Sun of Justice.

Sol Invictus

Sol Invictus.

Sol Invictus.

Sol Invictus.

Sol Invictus.....

Do you have any music in mind for this Peptic? You could still make music with a mando, or ukelele or even a keyboard. Also using a standard guitar as lapsteel - you can get liitle metal gizmos to raise the nut so the strings aren't fretted when you play. It's good ear training but maybe not ideal for your baby to hear while you're learning - if it's anything like my lapsteel playing that is.
