Well after going through your video I have a whole new appreciation for your playing Kirk. How you mix slide and fretting so smoothly is beyond belief! Well I got two guitars, one for slide and one for regular playing now. I'll try mixing 'em but boy that will take some time to get remotely proficient. I wanted to ask if you know of any places that might have good BTs particularly for slide players? Thanks!

Hi swb, there's a BT Forum at GFB which hasn't been transferred yet from the old forum server. I'm sure when Clancy gets a bit of breathing space she'll track it down. There were a lot of bt's there, but if you google for 'backing tracks free' or similar you'll get a lot of links, or there are also commercially available bt's if you want to pay for them. Or search Youtube for bt's etc.

All of the BT's over at the PlaneTalkers' Forum would be good, SWB ... any old progression will do.

Our backing tracks forum is here SWB - http://www.guitarfor...-its-your-take/ - I'm not sure why Carol isn't seeing it. Looking into why that might be now.
