Some here are not One hit wonders (at least not in the UK);

Soft Cell (Say Hello...), Hurricane Smith (Don't Let it Die), Kajagoogoo (White Feather), Paper Lace (Billy, Don't be a Hero) etc

And in the UK a One hit wonder was classed as a #1 and no other chart hit - Clive Dunn, John Denver (Annie's Song) , St Winnifred's School Choir

I always liked Spirit in the Sky, I think it's been a one hit wonder 2.5 times

Norman, Dr & the Medics and Gareth & the Kumars! :D

Safety Dance was my fav song in 83

some good stuff here, a bit US biased tho

how about 'shadd uppa your face' (sic) by Joe Dolce. It stopped 'Vienna' by Ultravox reaching number 1.It was the best song they ever did.

Couldn't bring myself to mention that one ;)

reminds me of Lena Martell too much! :brickwall:

Come On Eileen - Dexy's Midnight Runners

(I'm in the USA so whatever happened with DMR in the UK or beyond is out of my control but over here, well they are one hit wonders for sure) ;)

Madness- Our House

Peter Schilling- Major Tom

Talk Talk- It's My Life

Ratt- Round and Round

By the way, Golden Earring also did "Twilight Zone"- don't know how well it did on the charts, but it was on MTV an awful lot back in the day when MTV actually played -gasp!- music videos!!!!
