I just found this site, and he has a few backing tracks that are cool to jam over - so I downloaded one and did!
My efforts are here SoundClick artist: Scotty Burford - page with MP3 music downloads
And the backing track can be found at Blues Backing Tracks
This particular track is called Falling Down.

Very cool solo-ing Scot, and that site is a good one too. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Carol
So when are you going to post a clip jamming over it?

Latest update from Crabbey Road Studios: I'm working on getting some finger-picking patterns in the bank, and giving the voical chords a bit of an outing. Soloing over a bt will have to come later. So much to learn and so little time......left. :wheelchai :guitardude:

I know that feeling...I wish I could do everything!
I like the name of your studio.

I have tried a few 'soloings' but they were more like peanut buttering (crunchy) than jamming - I'll spare you the embarrasing details.

I see...I have plenty of embarrassing details tucked away in my musical journey. That has been the one constant throughout the whole thing.
But you shouldn't feel awkward hear. We would love to hear you.

I haven't recorded any 'soloing' - I generally don't play the electric much - another learning curve for when I get ok-ish on acoustic.

I was thinking of studio names - lots of possibilities:

Drabbey Road Studios for when the decor gets shabby.

Flabbey Road Studios for when too much indulgence becomes apparent

Stabbey Road Studios for when you want to do away with the other band members.

Tabbey Road Studios for when all my best friends are cats - won't ever happen!

Blabbey Road Studios for when there's too much talk and not enough action.

Can't think of any more. :)

Excellent work there Carol!
I am going to start looking for work for my studio setup; I need a name but you seem to have all the good ones taken!

You can have any that you fancy - naturally I'd expect 10% of your profits. :)

Here's another I forgot - Shabbey Road Studios - more or less the same as Drabbey Road Studios though. Or for a more interesting twist, you could make it Shaggey Road Studios for when....you need a haircut.
