Nice setup Skinny, you get a great sound. Just how much is it worth for Annie not to find out...:)

Nice set up and plenty of space to have fun in. I see an electric bottom left - is that Annie's?

Great set up skinny. I can't wait for it to arrive so I don't have to send that last pic to someone who should not see it. LOL

You always have a great tone Skinny. The setup works good but what are you doing with my tuner?

I'm sure Annie is the guitar tech that pulls it all together. I won't tell, I swear.

Yep, it's been a long while. Haven't talked to you in ages, howsyagoingmate?

So far, I haven't mentioned the pic to Annie but.... I'm suffering from selective memory loss but I may make a miraculous recovery. There's no way of telling :P

I'm thinking about getting the Shure SM57. How do you like it?

Hi NeverTooLate, and welcome.
Short answer to your question....love it! Not as sensitive as a condenser mic, but far more versatile.

I'm thinking of the exact same setup.

Both the SM57 and the M-Audio seem to come univerally with good reviews. Are you stoked with your setup?

I'm new to all this, so I'm not sure what a condenser mic is. I'll only be recording from my amp (i.e. no singing), so is the Shure good for just that?

Thanks!
