I think it sounds like a lame poll :sleep1: and maybe it is, but I was just interested to see what gauges of string you use or even if you care at all :rolleyes:.

I personally use 12's, not too light and good for bending, but still a strong bass sound. :clap:

I am currently using Gibson Brite Wires - gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46 - on my Les Paul.

I usually stay with 10-46's myself as well - easy to bend and still a good sound.

I voted "different, depends on my mood" but that is not really true. I have changed my strings twice in the past few months but both sets (although different makes) were just labelled "Classical Guitar String Set - NYLON - Ball end". As a comlete beginner could someone please advise me what I should ask for at my local music shop?

On my seagull and Ibenez10ae I like 11's---string of choice is martin Marquis; on myLP type electrric prefer 10's-Fender Bullets or Ernie Ball slinky's.:clap:
