It's all good. I'm new to guitar and don't always understand the subtle nuances. I'm learning. Which of course is why I come to this site in the first place. So, if I'm off the mark on certain issues, continue to let me know. "Lively discussions" are healthy and promote learning as long as they remain intelligent and respectful. Thanks.

Didn't know it was multiple choices, Still like Classical Gas but would have voted Stairway to Heaven, Here Comes the Sun and Time in a Bottle in that order or not.

Can't pick ONE

She Moves through the Bizarre/Blue Raga, Dance for two people - Davey Graham

Three Hours, From the Morning - Nick Drake

May you never- John Martyn

Needle of Death, As fresh as a sweet Sunday morning - Bert Jansch

ARRGGG. Realized too late I could choose more than one.

Oh well, Dust in the wind, Yesterday, Time in a bottle, Behind Blue Eyes, Landslide... doubt I could really pick one... but I guess I did.

Ohh, and yes Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler uses fingerpicking, not a guitar pick.

Other: Chet Atkins playing Recuerdos de la Alhambra during a live performance in Paris in about 1976 is without a doubt the best I have ever heard. Absolutely flawless. It brought down the house.

I chose "Dust in the Wind", "Romanza', and "Time in A Bottle". I also like "The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel and some John Denver songs too ("Country Roads", "Follow Me"), and "Teach Your Children" by CSN&Y to name a few..
