I have bought this little beast.

OK, it's not that wild, but I have never known Yamaha to make a bad instrument, so given the varying reviews of the Squiers and Epiphones out there, I thought I would play it safe.

I also bought one of these: armour-plated cables. I expect I will never need to buy another cable.

Nice axe and I hope you have many happy years with it. Yamaha do have a good reputation for their quality so a good choice and good value.

The cable though......My god are you expecting a world war or something?

The shop I ordered my guitar claimed not to be able to get the red guitar, but offered me black or sunburst. I want red!

I phoned a local shop, and they offered me the red one at roughly the same price.

I cancelled my original order, but asked that they still send the cable. The shop cancelled that, too. I guess I upset them.

So now I am back to square one, waiting for the guitar, and I have to find the cable somewhere else.

That's a nice guitar - I think they are underrated. :winkthumb:

Thats a nice looking Yamaha pacifica you have there. Mind you dont scratch it with that heavy armoured cable. Our other guitarist's main axe is a pacifica, but I dont know which model. but he makes it roar.

That heavy armoured cable will have to wait. The shop cancelled my order, and I haven't seen it anywhere else.

It's a shame; the rubber cable don't do as much damage to people.
