I've had this midi I put together for Little Wing -- just the chord progression -- for a PlaneTalk lesson I keep threatening to put together. Today I pulled the Strat out of its case and had a stab on slide. I thought I'd film it to use to promote the slide DVD. There sure are whole lot of nice melody lines hiding in those chords!

As always, this was done by following chords, not scales. :winkthumb:

Amazing... I'll think about the DVD maybe. :) Anyway, what's the chord progression for the song?

Not only does melody love chord tones, I think Kirk loves chord tones!

It's melody that I love, solidwalnut, not chord tones. They're just the building blocks. :winkthumb:

Little Wing is without doubt in my mind the best song ever written for guitar improv.

Thanks Kirk, now the wife understands why I have your picture on a stand surrounded by candles. When I said alter she thought I meant change. :winkthumb:

Kirk,
Killer tone and technique. Just to listen and desire to do this. I know, it takes a life's long process and devotion.
