Star ratings???

Hi all

I have not been on this site more than a few weeks and have noticed that members have various "stars" as ratings what does this all mean I can't find any explanation anywhere on the site - Doesn't mean it's not there only that I can't find it.

Cheers

I think it's when you make a donation to Guitar for beginners and beyond. Although it's a free site, a voluntary donation helps to keep us from going to a paysite.
I give what I can afford when I can. Its a damn good site, so every bit helps.

Now when I talk to God he said he'd understand, Stick by me I'll be your guiding hand. But don't ask me what I think of you. I might not give the answer you want me to.

Doug has it right. The memory requirements for a site is huge and expensive.

Thanks Doug & Allthumbs

I initially thought it might be graded by threads started or contributions to threads but examination of members number of posts didn't support that theory so I was guessing it might be to do with contributions - have to start saving my change because this is a great friendly non judgemental resource.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
