Country Gal - new ....

Hey guys,

Couple of things. First, this is new tonight. It's kind of generic but it could be a good exercise in collaboration.

Please post comments/critique if you have time. Keep in mind this just a first time through recording, so, um, never mind my screw ups!

What I'd like to do is garner the power here on GFB & B and make this a real working song. So, if any one is interested in a collab in any degree, please let me know. If not, no problem, I'll work it to the end.

Here's the mp3 ... Country Gal 2.7Mb @ 2:49

Here's the lyrics...
***********************
Country Gal

[V1]
I love my country gal when she's layin' down the law
She say's it so mean, with a cute southern drawl
Puts her hands on her hips and shakes her ... behind
Wrinkles up her nose, says what's on her mind.
Oh man, ................. I love my country gal

[V2]
I love my country gal when she sachet's though the house
A sexy southern vixon, and boys, she's my spouse
Puts her hands on her knees, says honey, look at these
Puckers up her lips, she's my ......... dixieland tease
Oh man, ................ I love my country gal

[Chorus]
She's my Country Gal
She's my country pal
She's a pure bred
Country fed
Country Gal

[V3]
I love my country gal when she's cookin' up a storm
She loves to roll the biscuit dough and keep the sausage warm
Puts her hands on her cheeks, she makes my legs weak
Just thinkin' 'bout those biscuits and all I'm 'bout to eat
Oh man, ................ I love my country gal

[Chorus x 2]

*******
As always, thanks for getting this far.

Les

I'm also hanging in there waiting for the 'deep guitar' part - loved the tune, and loved the 'Southern' feel of the lyrics. You have asked for 'collaboration' and I don't know if that extends to the lyrics, but I'm thinking that the 3rd verse lyrics are not as good as the first two - which are great, and fit nicely with the music and rhythm. Like Matty, I''m no expert, so can't really make any musical suggestions, but I like it so far.

You're Country Gal sure sounds like she's the boss alright

Alright....

I'm reworking Country Gal. Here's a teaser.....

Country Gal Hi-Fi [1.7mb @ 1:49]

Carol. I am dropping the third verse altogether . It really doesn't need it. But I'm also redoing the chorus to sorta kinda make up for it!
