A song I'm actually proud of

This one is very very personal on my level... it's called "seeing blind" It took awhile to write it, definetely thought out on my part...I just hope that comes through...
V1
The deal...
The deal is set in stone
I envy the blind
for they can't see it coming
and I can see it all
Who will catch me when I crumble?
The ground is getting soft
my hearts with you all
I'll stand where I fall
I'm going home

Pre-Chorus
I need a blind man
to teach me how to see
and I need a savior
to set my poor soul free

Chorus
So where is the doorman?
and why won't he let me in?
My fear sinks in slowly
as I sit in wait
for my hell to begin

V2
Our lives passed us by
on the wings of a sparrow
I'm stuck in a world
condemned by their greed
and their sorrow

*Pre chorus/chorus again*

Bridge
Now the night is upon us
it's darkness's last call
all the light is below me
I can't see at all
and the fire is above me
it's burning endlessness
all my years are before me
I have a past I can't forget

Outro
So where is the doorman
and why won't he let me in?
All my fear sinks in slowly
as I sit and wait for hell to begin...

END

*Copyrighted under federal law* I spent the thirty bucks and had it done..not saying anyone would steal it, but you just can't be too careful...

Well, I'm a beginner on guitar, but I have the basis for it...I can play the guitar and keep the beat with it while I sing the song...so yea, I have the foundation started...I can post audio if need be...

Unfortunately, this file has expired. A file link is only valid for a certain number of days or a limited number of downloads, whichever occurs first.
Too bad. I wanted to hear it though. Tell me if you ddecide to upload it again.

Very nice ForeverDecember. You certainly have a nice voice and your lyrics are good too. Once you get bit more fluent on the guitar I reckon you could lift the tempo a bit, lighten up the guitar work some and you'll have a winner.

What 737 said. You have the frame work. Now it is just a matter of polishing it.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
