Music To My Voice - Putting it together...: )
FRUSTRATED <----- that's me....: ( I guess I am just not getting something... How do I put the music to vocals??? I'm going to post along with this thread a very short snippet of some vocals, (of mine). If anyone would be willing to take the time to throw together a musical snippet to match the vocal snippet, and post it along with the tabs, I think it'd be incredibly enlightening! Plus, it'd be neat to see what different musician's come up with... Oh, and be gentle, this is one of my first "little" recordings, done with a $5.00 pc mic! (wow, I feel vulnerable doing this)...~Nikki

Hi Nikki
I know how frustrating it can be to try and find the right chords to go with the melody.
You could try the following chords with what you have already on "Around"
Try: G Major, then B minor, then D Major....with what you have so far.
I'd play it for you but I've got to get myself some gear for that. I'm workin' on it!

Ok NetKnockout,... You have words that need music... I have music that needs words...!!!
From that little snippet, I really can't tell if they would fit, but I think it would be fun to
try...
I can change or rearange the following. With the lead guitar I tried to come up with
some sort of melody, but again that can change or be removed all together...!
let me know what you think...!!!

You have a good voice. Have you had any vocal training? I can't help with the music part I am not at that point in my musical ability.

Actually, yes I took voice for 4 years, but none what I was taught came through in that snippet, lol, as that was recorded in a moment of anger, a product of the heart not the head... : )

And that is what it is all about man, straight from the heart, not the head. Congrats on the singing.
