Following on from a thread on the forum, here's the podcast program that we heard in Australia a couple of months ago. It's a 14 minute audio file about 10.5 MB so its quite large. It was a podcast so I'm assuming the copyright of posting this is OK. I cut it into 2 parts as it was just over the upload limit for audio attachments.
Yes, it's Bach's Air on a Gstring and the program goes into the composing, lyrics, recording and production. At the end of the program there is an update on the court case over who wrote it and who should get royalities etc. It touches on similarities to When a Man Loves a Woman and lots else besides.
It was 1967, the Summer of Love, and some of us could still do cartwheels (across the floor if necessary).
My fav quote "The lyrics meant something to everyone, but nobody knew quite what that was"

One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain - Bob Marley
