China Doll

I asked Mr. Ian McAllister if he would like to collaborate with me on this song. He said "sure". Here are the lyrics and cords. I used the 2 base notes of each bar cord counting 1and, then strum the cord counting 2 3 4, somethimes changing the strum pattern to 2 3and 4. Posted on the Members Recording, Mr. Ian took some liberty.
Would like to hear any comments you may have.

CHINA DOLL

C .... G ... Bb ... F....

You are so far away But so near today

Bb ...... F......
I got you on my mind All the time

C .... G .... Bb .... F....

You are from A foreign land

Knowing that I am With you too

I probably never listen to how other songwriters write their songs, I just write on using my own imagination. windsong

I did take a few, (small) liberties with the lyrics, it's true
This is the recording I made, it's all a bit rough, first take, as I was sure that windsong would think that it was too poppy!
I really enjoyed doing this though. Great fun.
