Gutter Ball

This is something I wrote at work one night. I was getting frustrated and needed to vent a little. I'm debating on getting rid of the chanting in the chorus. Any feedback on that, or anything else you can think of is appreciated.

I am sick of being rolled over
Knocked down, pushed over
Set up time and time again
Knocked down like a bowling pin

Never bite my tongue again
Never stand still again
And hope for gutter balls

I will become the bowling ball
Knock down pins standing firm and tall
Run them over without a care
Never to leave a spare
Only to get a.....

Strike!
With the pin that's emotional
Strike!
With the one that's not rational
Strike!
The one full of arrogance
Strike!
The pin full of incompetence
Strike!
The pin who's vulgar and wild
Strike!
The one nothing more than a child

I am sick of all the pins
Every one of them the same
Rage rolls me down the alley
I get a perfect game!
I will get a....

Strike!
With the pin that reams me out
Strike!
With the pin who whines and pouts
Strike!
With the pin that's a pain
Strike!
The one driving me insane

I have become the bowling ball
Setup to knock down them all
Won't take their crap no more
Because I got a perfect score

We're not gonna listen to you, because we are open minded.

Nice PD

I can hear this to heavy metal blues
like going to school in rental shoes
when work becomes that sort of pain
I switch over to another lane
so grab your axe and a 16 lb pick
throw this into a frame of music
one tip for when your nerves go afar
most bowling ally's have a bar

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
