First attempt at a song!

This is a poem I wrote...based on my real life...but how will it look as a song?

Once I was bullied, I don’t know why.
I was never punched, never kicked but teased until I’d cry.
It might have been my short hair; it might be because I was thin
Or maybe it was because I could hardly swim.

I know what it is like to have banana in your face
To have spit in your yogurt; to feel out of place
You can’t tell anyone how it makes you feel
So we just lie in bed, pretending we are ill

If you are being bullied, tell someone what’s going on
If I had thought of that sooner, the problems might have gone
But no I kept quiet, letting her chase me and pull my hair,
She knew what she was doing, but she really didn’t care.

Eventually I had the guts to tell my mum the truth
She immediately went to school and nearly hit the roof.
The girl stopped the bulling, then she moved away,
But those memories still haunt me because I see her everyday.

nick: "ooh, yeah, i'd say officially at about....yeah, now."

learnng t pick,
Hey, those are some super strong words there. OK, Rock style or finger picking ballad style ?
Your gonna need a chorus line and a bridge. There are others here that know much more about this.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
