    What approach are you using? Fingerstyle, pick and fingers or just a pick?
  2. The technique he is using is sometimes called 'violining'. The guitarist is swelling into the note with the volume knob rolled off at first. There is a few bit of delay and reverb on the guitar to help add depth and sustain to the note.
  3. A couple of things 1. Practice the parts very very slowly so you know exactly what it is you are trying to do. With limited time this can be very beneficial to help you get there you need to be sooner. 2. Record as much as possible and you'll get used to it.
