From your list I've only ever used a Kyser, so I really couldn't make a judgement on them.

Same here, I've only used one. I would know if there's a big difference, this one can be a pain at times

Only ever used one; a Kyser trigger-type capo. So naturally it's my favourite.

Think mine's a trigger-type Dunlop but can't say I've had much use for it so far. Perhaps this will change over time.....have noticed some of Kirk's lessons use a capo but haven't tried those yet.

I have one that says Dunlop, and another that has Hamilton USA imprinted on it...
Never realized there was such a variety out there...!!!
Cheers

I use a Kyser 12-string capo for everything. But I'm thinking about getting a Shubb partial capo to make it easy to get to DADGAD tuning.

I currently own a Kyser. I checked out the G7th and instantly knew I would have to get one. They cost $40.00 so I will get one later on at another time. They sure have a great feel to them.

I use the G7th. If you ever try one, you will never use anything else.

I have both the kyser and the shubb. The problem with the kyser is that it grips the strings so tight that you have to retune. The shubb, you control the pressure on the strings.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
