Definition: A subgenre of heavy metal that is signified by dirgelike music and high pitched shrieking vocals. Many death metal bands have satantic or pagan lyrical content, and many bands also wear corpse paint and other costumes. The "second wave" of death metal includes more symphonic keyboards and melodic sections.

Variety.... The spice of life...!!!

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but doesn't "Death Metal" have "Cookie Monster" style vocals.
If not, it sure sounds like it!

yes i hate it too lol. it really needs to go. i think our music of today needs more musicians, creativity and raw human emotion. and less processed stuff from a computer.

as for me i love metal. tho rite now im trying to get into other stuff like blues and funk to experience all aspects of the guitar.
