Whats your favorite way to give yourself GAS?
I picked up the Ibanez 2007 catalog from the music store and read it whenever I need a GAS boost!
Bands Ive seen: All that Remains, Dragonforce(2x), Chimaira (2x), Killswitch Engage, Terror, Divine+Heresy, Katakylsm, Three, Between the Burried and me, Opeth, Dream Theater, High on fire, Job for a cowboy, Children of Bodom, In Flames, Megadeth

None of the above. My friends and I scour the net and rely on each other to alert each another about bargains.
BTW, I can't believe you passed on the speedloader floyd guitar.

In simplest terms, I'm on an allowance...I can't buy too much...I know I passed on the deal. But I don't even have a credit card.

Browsing the Internet shops but particularly eBay which is a disaster for me - I keep buying little things like picks, cables, guitar neck rests etc.

Eat a Can of Beans..........yep that would do it!
The wrong kind of GAS though. LOL
For me it's a combination of sometimes going to my local GC's and sometimes GAS can come about by browsing through sites over the internet. Other times it could just be a friend or someone on GFB&B that has recently purchased a guitar or effect, and the I catch the GAS too.
GAS is highly contagious!

Gas comes in many ways and many forms, well probably only one form, but this site is famous for Gas Attacks.

I must say that waking up in the morning is normally enough for me to suffer GAS - though I am getting much better as my studio setup and playing rig is just about where I want it now.
A recording booth in the garage to link to the setup I have in the back room of the house, and maybe a twelve-string, should be pretty close to it...for now!
Though the Hotcakes overdrive pedal has me interested.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
